Logo Design for Little Crown Prints

The client wanted the logo to be simple and minimalistic. Also, had to be something that would be easily recognizable by customers. I took the W in the word crown and manipulated it into an actual crown symbol. It was a creative way to use the typography of the name and design it to fit the brand.

Logo Design for Diamond Land Surveying

With this project, I was tasked with taking something old and recreating it into something new. Using the same information on the previous design given by the client; i.e., name, logo, and business name. But designing it in a way that took on a new form of life.

Personal Wedding Stationary Announcement

I had the opportunity to create my wedding stationary. I wanted this particular invitation to be warm and inviting. I added the lavender because I wanted to pull in some aesthetic aspects of our wedding venue as well, which had a country boho style.

Symbolic Defining of Personal Charateristics

I was tasked with the objective, “If you had to explain who you are with five objects that you have right now, what would they be?” With that, I had to choose five personal items I currently possessed and explain why I chose them. The next part of the project was to then create a visual representation of that explanation.

5 Object Display Unit

This display unit goes along with the ‘Five Items to Describe Yourself’ project. We got into groups of three and were tasked with finding a solution to display our 15 items. It had to be in a creative new innovative way. We also had to come up with a story of how these 15 items came together and what their purpose was.

Composition Collage

I was given a design brief and had to create a collage out of my interpretation of it.

It had to include balance, cohesion, symmetry, rhythm, and depth.

Poster Board Light Study

I was given a large poster board, light bulbs, and plugs with the intent to create ‘lamps’, but not ‘lamps’. We had to see how the light influence the poster board and vise versa. Another requirement was that we had to create one hanging and one sitting on the table. I had to create a way for the ‘lamps’ to connect without touching.

Photography Still Movement Study

We had to photograph multiple subjects in movement. I choose a book with pages being flipped. Once we had taken our pictures we had to collage them together to create that movement in a picture form. We then had the task of taking that picture and creating a 3D model. Not a replica but our interpretation of the picture. I wanted to show the movement of the pages so I went with blank newspaper and worked my magic to bring this art piece to life.

Coming To A River Study

Each student was given a section of the same chapter in a book. We each had to take our section of the chapter and interpret it in a way to bring it to life. We had to design the main map with all the elements that were important to focus on. Creating a description board explaining all the elements in the main map.
